New Issue alert:

20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UPU EMS COOPERATIVE

20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE UPU EMS COOPERATIVE
The EMS Cooperative of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) is celebrating its 20th anniversary on 10 September 2019. The EMS Cooperative was established during the Beijing Congress exactly 20 years ago in 1999.
EMS is the fastest postal product, combining speed with reliability, affordability, and customer focus. EMS Cooprative members have achieved significant results in all of these areas by the UPU International Bureau for this occasion.
This important milestone will be celebrated across the entire EMS Cooperative with a stamp issuance for its 20th anniversary. Members of the cooperative will participate in a joint commemorative stamp issuance via a template provided by the UPU International Bureau.
For the Philippines, the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) is issuing the commemorative stamp provided by the UPU International Bureau, with the Philippine flag appearing over the UPU International Bureau’s flag. The theme of the stamp, “Delivering excellence 1999 -2019: UPU EMS Cooperative” appears on top of an image exemplifying the value of EMS to the world. This image was the Vanuatuan entry to the “EMS Connecting the World”, which won the photo competition held by the EMS Cooperative.
Stamps and Official First Day Covers of “20th Anniversary of the UPU EMS Cooperative” is available at the Philatelic Counter, Manila Central Post Office, all Mega Manila Post Offices, Postal Area 4, San Pablo, Postal Area 5, Mandaue, Postal Area 7, Davao, and Postal Area 8, Cagayan de Oro.
