PPAC 8th anniversary

Here's a pair of TB seals overprinted by the Philippine Philatelic Auction Club for its 8th anniversary.

The foundation day of the PPAC is October 9, which also is World Post Day.

This issue of the TB seal was released in 1976.

Postpex 82 cover

Here's a Postpex '82 cover with a marginal block of ten Woman & Carabao stamps of 1935 privately overprinted by the Philippine Philatelic Auction Club.

This was for the 5th anniversary of PPAC in 1982.

PPAC private overprints

Aside from Postpex '82 souvenir cards, the Philippine Philatelic Auction Club also came out with privately overprinted stamps for its 5th year anniversary in 1982.

These came with additional printing on the selvage reading "Stamp Collecting is Fun and Gains" and were overprinted on the 1935 Woman & Carabao issue.

V-PEX seals

By privately overprinting the green Rizal stamp of 1941, the Philippine Philatelic Club created a new philatelic souvenir in 1945 for V-PEX, the Victory Philatelic Exhibition.

The 1941 stamps had been demonetized during the Japanese occupation.
