Think It Over #1
Rizal Martyrdom postal card with what looks like a newspaper clipping of Think It Over by H. M. Stansifer saying "The happiest people are generally busy helping others". Also has a cut-out of the Cebu provincial seal.
On its reverse is a printed consignment form of the Manila Steamship Company, which ceased shipping in 1955. As the slogan cancel is dated August 17, 1954, my guess is that this was an excess and never used, hence it no doubt was made into a souvenir by Pablo Esperidion, the well-known philatelist of that company.

The 2nd APO Philatelic Exhibition was held at the Manila Post Office in 1952.
"The exhibition came as a surprise to everybody who expected to see a bunch of kids putting up an amateurish exhibition," reported the Philippine Journal of Philately. "Instead, they saw college students and professionals who displayed their collections with such seriousness, artistry, and originality as to earn the distinction of presenting one of the finest junior exhibitions here in Manila."
