Shown is what I purchased from today's auction conducted by the Filipinas Stamp Collectors' Club in Manila.
Eighteen Republic first day covers, a mint block of four Cebu Philatelic Society overprint of 2007, an 1878 Spanish cover franked with two stamps and an 1825 Great Britain folded letter sheet with wax seal.
Some two dozen bidders participated and over 500 philatelic and nonphilatelic lots were offered. Seen at the sale were Philippine Philatelic Journal editor Hans Becker and Philippine Philatelic Federation president Rey Ong.
