Got a pane of 100 Rizal apple green stamps overprinted O. B. in today's auction sale of the APO Philatelic Society.
The plate number of this pane is 145417. Bought this as I had noticed a split period after the O in position #70, as shown here.
Some 30 bidders fought fiercely over a little more than 400 lots of philatelic and nonphilatelic collectibles.
We were moved to the half-circle area at the leftside hall of the Manila Central Post Office because the entire main lobby was crammed with movie people shooting a Tagalog film about souls waiting in purgatory. Oh well.
