FSCC auction May 2018

Got this slogan postal card in today's auction sale of the Filipinas Stamp Collectors' Club held at the Manila Central Post Office in Manila, specifically at the domed semicircle space of the building's left wing where, someone said, the Kempeitai of the Japanese army were headquartered during the Battle of Manila in 1945.
Anyhow, this part of the building is windless--two stand fans had to be brought in. The usual area where auctions are held, the main lobby, was taken up by the Mga Selyong Pamana stamp exhibit scheduled to open tomorrow. Most of the frames were covered with manila paper, so I can't give a preview here.
Some 30 bidders, including at least four new faces, participated in the auction offering 500 lots of philatelic and nonphilatelic collectibles. Three of the new bidders were women and, adding another regular, this number was the most we've had in recent months. The sale was over in under two hours--another record!
The slogan cancel for the First National Philatelic Week in the Philippines was used in Manila from November 10 to 22.
Earlier, on October 10, President Elpidio Quirino signed Proclamation No. 342 "to draw the people's attention to the First Pan Asian Philatelic Exhibition" and to "declare the period from November 16 to 22, 1952, as the First National Philatelic Week in the Philippines".
