Some two dozen bidders participated in today's auction conducted by the Filipinas Stamp Collectors' Club at Manila, including Philippine Philatelic Journal editor Hans Becker from Cebu.

Shown here is an Ausipex '84 first day cover I got from this sale that offered some 520 lots of philatelic and nonphilatelic collectibles.

Ausipex '84, the Australian International Philatelic Exhibition, was held at the Royal Exhibition Buildings in Melbourne from September 21 to 30, 1984.

Fifteen bidders participated in this sale that offered a little over 300 lots of philatelic and numismatic items.

The auction was finished in just an hour and a half!
