Jap Occ cover
This commercially used Japanese Occupation cover was mailed from Dulawan, Cotabato, on July 22, 1943 (date is in manuscript), and addressed to Zamboanga City, a few weeks after the Japanese Military ceased using censor marks.
The backstamp is indistinct but "Zamboanga" and "AUG 19" can still be made out.
Is the post office of the Municipality of Dulawan among those open during this time, as listed in Eugene Garrett's definitive work Postal History of the Japanese Occupation of the Philippines?

Found a list of open post offices during the Japanese occupation -- in Philippine Philatelic Journal, Second Quarter 1998 -- and Zamboanga is recorded but Dulawan is not!
