Before the sale began, Philippine Philatelic Federation president Rey Ong once again invited us all to Aseanpex. Ong also brought the saddening news of the passing of Mr. Johnny Joven. He said Joven was the last surviving member of the Asociacion Filatelica de Filipinas.
There were over 30 people in attendance at this auction featuring more than 500 lots of philatelic and nonphilatelic material.
