From Philippine Philatelic News to Philippine Philatelic Journal. This was the name change of the official publication of the International Philippine Philatelic Society, "dedicated to the study and advancement of Philippine philately".
On the inside front cover of the 1992 First Quarter edition, the IPPS is listed as a member of the American Philatelic Society (Affiliate No. 54), American First Day Cover Society (Chapter No. 24), Inter-Asia Philatelic Federation (FIAP), and the International Federation of Philately (FIP).

Inductivo (public relations officer), Mario O. Que (FIP representative), Roberto V. Araos (immediate past president), Roberto F. Yacano (editor-in-chief), Daniel F. Ring (librarian), David A. McMurtrie (chairman, US auctions and new issue service), David S. Durbin (APS representative), and William T. Zuehlke (advertising manager).
