There were 462 lots in the APO Philatelic Society auction held today at the Philpost lobby attended by some 30 bidders. This sale was held on the second Sunday of the month, as November 1st was a holiday.
More than half of the items were philatelic, and the rest were coins, banknotes and other collectibles.
I won a lot described as "WW: 1 stamp dealer box of clean used commems in glassine" shown above as taken out from the box.
Now for the fun part -- sorting out the stamps! First is to separate Philippines from foreign, then remove those with obvious faults, set aside duplicates, and add whatever is needed for my collection.
It looks like hours of fun!
