In 1977 a provisional surcharge on the P1.10 Pio Valenzuela definitive of 1974 was released.

A variety to look for in this issue is that of the surcharge shifted to the right, causing part of the deleting bars to appear on the margin of the stamp, as shown above.

This EFO was my discovery last September 25 and it's unlisted in Ngo's specialized catalogue.
